The 2006/07 women's ice hockey Bundesliga season is the 19th Bundesliga season for women in Germany.

For 2006/07 the introduction of a single-track women's Bundesliga was decided by the majority of the participants at the meeting on April 1, 2006. The deadline for registering participants in this league was June 20, 2006. The league should play with 12 clubs, but the WSV Braunlage withdrew to the 2nd division.

There were no final rounds or play-offs, the front runner after the season was immediately German champions. The bottom of the table had to relegate. The champions of the 2nd division north and the winner from the relegation games in Bavaria / Baden-Württemberg acquired the right to promotion. A Bundesliga with 12 teams was planned for the following season, but it did not materialize again.
