Claudia Grundmann (born April 22, 1976 in Berlin ) is a former German ice hockey player who played for the OSC Berlin in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga for 14 years and won several German championship titles with it.

For the German national team she wore the jersey number 29. After the 1999 World Cup , Grundmann was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus , but was able to continue her sports career.

Internationally, she has completed a total of 191 internationals in the course of her career, in which she scored 29 goals and 26 assists with 117 penalty minutes. They also ran at the 2002 Winter Olympics (in Salt Lake City ) and in 2006 in Turin for Germany on.

Her home club was OSC Berlin from 1996 , before she played at DEC Eishasen Berlin . In the late 1990s she began studying sports science at Humboldt University , which she later interrupted for two years when she was employed as a sports soldier in the German Armed Forces .

In 2009 she ended her career to become an architect.
