Susann Götz (born December 14, 1982 in Bad Muskau , GDR ) is a German ice hockey player and sports soldier (staff sergeant). Her home club is the OSC Berlin from the women's ice hockey Bundesliga , at the same time she has played for FASS Berlin in the men's regional league since 2007 .

Career

She started ice hockey at ES Weißwasser at the age of ten , after having skated for the first time at the age of four. At the age of 19 she switched to OSC Berlin and began studying sports science .

Susann Götz has participated in various German championships and played for the German national team at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , where she wears jersey number 12. She was the captain of the national team at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and then planned to end her ice hockey career. She ended her ice hockey career as an active player on March 23, 2014 after the championship and the cup tournament in which she won with her team.
