Eberbach-Wœrth is a district of Gundershoffen , a municipality with 3679 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the canton of Reichshoffen in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). in France .

Eberbach
Eberbach belonged to the Amt of Wörth , which was created in the 13th century in the Lichtenberg rule , fell to the County of Hanau-Lichtenberg in 1480 and to the Landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt in 1736 . It was only at this time that Ebersbach was proven to be part of the office. Before it belonged to the Niederbronn office and before the Hesse-Darmstadt time it was not part of the Lichtenberg property.
With the upheaval that began with the French Revolution , the Wörth office and thus also Eberbach became part of France. In 1798 Eberbach had 157 inhabitants.

At a later date, Eberbach and Wœrth were merged.
On September 1, 1973, the previously independent community of Eberbach-Wœrth was incorporated into Gundershoffen with a number of other communities and living spaces.
