Corner Bonk (* 1953 in Cairo ) lives and works in Austria and New Zealand and is a concept artist ( concept art ). Bonk studied history of science and philosophy in Vienna , Munich and Heidelberg , painting with Raimer Jochims , typography with Herbert Bayer in Aspen , Colorado (USA). Corner Bonk deals with sign systems as an interdisciplinary expression of art , science , typography and philosophy in order to reflect the conditions and connections of cultural achievements.

Projects

• 2001 Founding of typosophes sans frontières
• In 1994 he founded the typosophic society in Primersdorf / Lower Austria , which deals with the fundamentals of the formation of symbols and the aesthetics of information
• 1988 Cooperation with NASA in Houston as a consultant for questions relating to the labeling of the Command Module of the Space Shuttle mission
