Edda Köchl-König

Edda Köchl-König (born February 28, 1942 in Vienna , † September 12, 2015 in Berlin ) was a German actress and illustrator .

Life

Edda Köchl-König began her acting career as an actress in the early works of Wim Wenders , with whom she was also married from 1968 to 1974. Köchl-König also worked as an illustrator, including for the youth magazine twen and the British Times as well as numerous parenting guides, children's and picture books (see bibliography ).

At the end of the sixties, Köchl-König lived in a commune in Munich with Fritz Teufel and the Austrian word-composer Günter Rupp ; According to Ulrich Enzensberger , it was the so-called "Gröbenzeller municipality". In the summer of 1969 she went to Italy with her then husband Wim Wenders and stayed for some time with a group of architecture students called "Uccelli" (Italian for "the birds") and Dieter Kunzelmann , Ina Siepmann , Fritz Teufel, his girlfriend Inga Möller , Tommy Weisbecker , Georg von Rauch and Heinz-Georg Vogler in Milan and Rome . During this time the group was supported with money and works of art, among others by the film director Marco Ferreri , the painter Piero Dorazio , Sergio Corbucci , Carlo Levi and Roberto Matta .

She later married the German art professor and curator Kasper König , with whom she first lived in Cologne and later in Frankfurt. They have a son together, the gallery owner Johann König, who was born in Cologne and now works in Berlin .
