Edimo Ferreira Campos , called Edinho , (born January 15, 1983 in Niterói , RJ ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used as a central defender or defensive midfielder.

Career

Edinho started his career at Boavista SC in Saquarema . At the lower-class club, he received his basic football training and made it to the professional squad in 2001. In 2003 the player then moved to SC Internacional . With this he won various titles a. a. 2006 the South American Championship and the FIFA Club World Cup. In 2008 he moved to Italy for US Lecce . But he was unable to assert himself here, so that he went back to Brazil in 2010. After just one season at Palmeiras São Paulo , he went to Fluminense Rio de Janeiro in 2011 , with whom he won the Brazilian championship in 2012. For the 2014 season Edinho then went to Grêmio Porto Alegre . After starting the championship round with Grêmio in 2016, it was announced on June 6, 2016 that a player swap had been agreed with Coritiba FC .

Edinho went to Coritiba and Guilherme Negueba came from there to Gremio. After the contract with Edinho expired in March 2018, he joined CS Alagoano . After 13 games in Série B and one goal, Edimo left for Ceará SC in July 2018 . There he received a contract until the end of 2019. In 2019, Edinho was still playing for the state championship for Ceará. After finding himself only as a reserve player in the championship round, he moved to Série B for Vila Nova FC in August 2019 .
