Eduard Georgievich Bagritsky
Eduard Georgijewitsch Bagrizki ( Russian Эдуард Георгиевич Багрицкий ;. Scientific transliteration Eduard Georgievic Bagrickij , actually Eduard Godelewitsch Dsjubin ( Эдуард Годелевич Дзюбин / Eduard Godelevič Dzjubin ), born on October 22 . Jul / 3. November 1895 greg. In Odessa , died on 16 February 1934 in Moscow ) was a Russian- Soviet poet, translator and dramaturge. He was a representative of early Soviet poetry. He published exclusively under a pseudonym . His poem Duma by Opanas pays homage to the revolutionary struggle.
The repertoire of the Alexandrov Ensemble included the song Molodost ( Молодость "Youth") from his poem Smert pionerki ("The Death of the Young Pioneer", 1932), which was popular before the collapse of the Soviet Union, set by Mark Minkow.
