Eduard Heinrich Go

Eduard Heinrich Gehe (born February 1, 1793 in Dresden ; † February 13, 1850 there ) was a German writer .

Life

Eduard Heinrich Gehe was the son of a court and judiciary. He studied at the University of Leipzig law . From 1816 to 1817 Gehe traveled extensively through southern Germany, Italy and Switzerland . Then he settled as a lawyer in Dresden.

In 1827 he was appointed court councilor to the Hessian ducal . From 1832 to 1848 Gehe worked as a book censor for the district administration in Dresden.

Gehe belonged to the Dresden Liederkreis .
