Eduardo Alanis Nevares (born February 19, 1954 in San Antonio ) is auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Phoenix (USA).

Life

Eduardo Alanis Nevares joined the Order of Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette and made profession on July 4th, 1977. The Bishop of Beaumont , Bernard James Ganter , ordained him a priest on July 18, 1981 . He left the order and was incardinated on May 27, 2007 in the Diocese of Tyler .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 11, 2010 auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Phoenix and titular bishop of Natchesium . The Bishop of Phoenix, Thomas James Olmsted , donated him episcopal ordination on July 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Michael Jarboe Sheehan , Archbishop of Santa Fe , and Álvaro Corrada del Rio SJ , Bishop of Tyler.
