Mons Records is a German music label specializing in jazz and classical music .

History and profile

The independent jazz and classical label Mons Records was founded in 1991 by Thilo Berg in Trippstadt . Mons Records releases about 15 productions a year. The musicians who published albums on Mons include Ulli Baum , Don Braden , Mia Brentano , Rob Bruynen , Othella Dallas , Johannes Faber , Norbert Gottschalk , Paul Heller , Niels Klein , Ralph Moore , Hubert and Ludwig Nuss , Benyamin Nuss , Bill Ramsey , Dieter Reith , Marie Séférian , Clark Terry & Rob Pronk with the Metropol Orchestra , Nils Wogram , Peter Less and the Bundesjugendjazzorchester , Triologic , Triosence , the Swingin 'Fireballs , the Swiss Jazz Orchestra / Bert Joris , the RIAS Big Band Berlin and the Thilo Berg Big Band with various guest soloists, as well as the SWR Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern , Emmerich Smola and Baldur Seifert .
