Edward Holcroft

Edward Holcroft (born June 23, 1987 in England ) is a British actor .

life and career

Edward Holcroft's career, the son of a publisher, began in the theater. He previously attended the Drama Center London , which he graduated from in 2012, and has appeared on various stages with actors such as Mark Rylance , Dominic West and Janet McTeer , for example at the Royal Court Theater for performances of Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem or at the Donmar Warehouse in Dangerous Liaisons by Pierre -Ambroise-François Choderlos de Laclos .

His career in front of the camera began in 2014 when he played the role of Aaron in the movie Vampire Academy . This was followed by the role of Charlie Hesketh in the very successful spy film Kingsman: The Secret Service . He also took on this role in the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle from 2017. In 2015, Holcroft appeared in a supporting role as George Boleyn in the series Wolves . That same year he appeared as Alex in London Spy . 2017 was followed by a supporting role in Gunpowder alongside Kit Harington and a starring role as Dr. Simon Jordan in alias Grace .

In 2020 he portrayed the football player and later functionary Arthur Kinnaird, 11th Lord Kinnaird , in the miniseries The English Game .
