Edwin de Graaf (born April 30, 1980 in The Hague ) is a Dutch football player .

Career

Edwin de Graaf began his career with the amateurs of FC Lisse . From there he moved to RBC Roosendaal , where the midfielder made his professional debut on August 31, 2001 in the Eerste Divisie . After four seasons with the club from North Brabant , de Graaf moved to Feyenoord Rotterdam on a free transfer . A loan deal with RBC was also agreed in the contract. After de Graaf could not prevail at Feyenoord and only made two and four league games for the team from Feijenoord , he was awarded to ADO Den Haag in the 2005/06 season .

At the beginning of the 2006/07 season he moved to NAC Breda . In the summer of 2010, de Graaf was unable to agree on a contract extension with NAC. On June 15, de Graaf signed a two-year contract with Hibernian Edinburgh . He made his debut for the Hibs in the Europa League qualification against NK Maribor , where he scored two goals.

In the winter transfer window, the coach in the person of Colin Calderwood suggested a change, with de Graaf initially playing on loan in the second half of the season for Excelsior Rotterdam in the Eredivisie . In the 2011/12 season , de Graaf should play in the shirt of Hibernian Edinburgh again , as John Rankin had left the club from Edinburgh and the position is covered by this, among other things. The contract was canceled by mutual agreement after he was back in Edinburgh and the midfielder signed a contract with Excelsior Rotterdam until the end of the 2011/12 season . After the Rotterdamers were relegated, de Graaf returned to the amateur camp for third division club FC Lisse.
