Efe Ajagba (* 22. April 1994 in Ughelli , Delta , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian professional boxer in the heavyweight division and currently undefeated.
Amateur career
Ajagba began in 2011 with the sport of boxing and fought as an amateur in the super heavyweight . He won the Nigerian championships in 2015, the African Games in 2015 and the African Olympic qualification in 2016. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he won early against Nigel Paul in the round of 16 , but lost to Ivan Dytschko on points in the quarterfinals . He was also a bronze medalist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games after losing to Joseph Goodall in the semi-finals . In total, he won 41 of 43 fights, 30 of them prematurely.
Professional career
The normal boom is under contract with the promotion company Ringstar Sports , founded by Richard Schaefer in 2016, and won his professional debut on July 30, 2017 by knocking out Tyrrell Herndon in the first round.
