Eforie Sud is a district of the city of Eforie in Romania and is located on the Black Sea coast . It is located near Eforie Nord on a land connection between the Black Sea beach and Lake Techirghiol .
history
The place was called Carmen Silva between the First and Second World War , after the stage name of Queen Elisabeth of Romania . Eforie Sud was established as a health resort in 1912.

The place is recommended for the treatment of rheumatism, skin diseases and bone diseases. The fine sludge from the nearby Lake Techirghiol is used for the cure. The mud bath is accessible to everyone for a small fee. There is a limestone promontory and a cliff that in some places even reaches a height of 35 meters.
