The nature reserve calibration Gimbsheimer Old Rhine is the largest nature reserve in the Alzey-Worms district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The 162 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1966 , extends northeast of the local community of Eich between the B 9 running to the west and the Rhine flowing to the east . The state road L 437 runs not far to the east and the L 440 not far to the south.
