The Eifel Stadl (or Eifelstadl or Stadl ) is a night club and discotheque . It was built together with the Eifel village "Green Hell" as part of the Nürburgring 2009 project . According to Kai Richter from Mediinvest , 100,000 people visited the Eifel Stadl in the first six months after it opened. The location offers space for around 2000 visitors.

Until the Nürburgring filed for bankruptcy on July 18, 2012, it was said that the Eifel village was a “ghost town”. Only when the barn was open did a few more visitors come. Both the brewery and the steakhouse have been closed for months due to structural damage (including mold ). The gastronomy in the Eifel Stadl is partially affected.

The owner Capricorn does not plan any further with the adventure village "Green Hell" and announced that it would be demolished soon. The night club is also affected. On July 4, 2014, the operator announced that the Eifel Stadl - together with the Eifeldorf - will close on November 1, 2014.

In 2018, however, the company continued to invest in the Eifel village. Events also continue to take place in the Eifel Stadl.

Construction time and inauguration

Construction of the entire holiday village with the Eifel Stadl started in October 2008. In July 2009, the work was completed, the location and the Eifel village "Green Hell" opened on July 9, 2009. Celebrities such as Boris Becker and Giulia Siegel were at the opening ceremony in the Eifel Stadl.

Capricorn's plans

The Capricorn company has owned the race track since March 12, 2014. He is no longer planning the amusement park and is planning its demolition. According to Capricorn, a technology park is to be built at this point later. The night club is also affected. However, it is still unclear when the demolition will take place.
