A sheet of love (Original title: Une page d'amour ) is a French film from 1980 . It is a film adaptation of the eponymous novel by Émile Zola .

The film is set in the Passy district of Paris at the end of the 19th century. Hélène, who recently weathered, takes care of her twelve-year-old daughter Jeanne, who suffers from epileptic seizures. As a result, Hélène met her neighbor Henri Deberle, who happened to be a doctor and looked after Jeanne. A romantic relationship develops between Hélène and Henri Deberle, Jeanne becomes jealous and eventually falls ill with tuberculosis. After Jeanne dies, Hélène decides to marry Mr. Rambaud.
