To relax after a failed relationship, the teacher Senta rented a winegrower's house in Styria for her summer vacation . She wants to calmly write a mathematics book there that deals with the Zenonic paradoxes , among other things .
The self-chosen loneliness is soon disturbed by unexpected visitors. First the local gendarmerie inspector Ludwig, who is not averse to a glass of wine, visits her, then unexpectedly the owner of the house comes by. The landlord is called Stefan Schuster and works as a cook in Salzburg.
Senta cannot resist his charm for long - the two fall in love. One day Senta accidentally discovers clippings from old newspaper articles in a cookbook, in which Stefan is named as a suspect in a murder case.
