action

Charlie Congers is hired by the American government to kidnap the mistress of an underworld boss, Joe Bomposa. Jackie Pruit is said to be the key witness to help convict Bomposa herself. Congers has to save her in Switzerland from the helpers of the gangster who wants to get rid of her because she has become a risk for him. On the adventure-filled escape that leads them across Europe, a love affair develops between the two of them; Congers also began to doubt the honesty of his client. Then Jackie is shot dead when Pruits are handed over to the FBI. Congers sees it as revenge by sending a bomb placed in the coffin to Bomposa.

Reviews

Almost unanimous rejection from the German community of critics: "Dull follow-up to A man sees red, " was Cinema . "Only moderately exciting, brutal action film that subliminally justifies vigilante justice," said the lexicon of international films .

The New York Times saw it similarly: “It's all very chivalrous, but it's also very dull. Briton Ireland is not developing a talent for the hillbilly accent, and as a weird note she doesn't want to fit. [...] Bronson is reliably getting cooler with every film, but this one is too clumsy to use it to his advantage. "

Video.de saw it differently: “Solid action; consistently exciting ripper. "
