The ice rink Ravensburg - CHG Arena (originally just ice rink Ravensburg ) is an ice rink in Ravensburg , Baden-Württemberg , which is mainly used by the Ravensburg Towerstars , who play in the DEL2 .

The arena with a capacity of 3418 spectators was opened in 2003 and is operated by the technical works Schussental on behalf of the city of Ravensburg. In addition to the second division team, the ice rink is also used by the ESC Ravensburg , which mainly does figure skating . In addition, the stadium is open to the public when there are no matches or training.

The ice rink was the venue for the annual women's ice hockey tournament MLP Nations Cup from 2006 to 2010 and is also used for figure skating events such as the Moscow Circus on Ice . From April 11 to 17, 2011, the Ravensburg ice rink was the venue for the Division I women's ice hockey world championship . The German women's national team was able to return to the A group here.

On December 10, 2018, the long-standing main sponsor CHG-Meridian took over the naming rights for the Ravensburg ice rink for the Towerstars games, which has therefore been called the CHG Arena since January 2019 . The Ravensburg city administration uses the name Eissporthalle Ravensburg - CHG Arena , not least because other sporting activities take place in the hall that have nothing to do with the tower stars.
