Elżbieta Renata Jakubiak b. Dąbrowska (born March 17, 1966 in Zatory ) is a Polish politician , former Minister of Sport and Tourism in Jarosław Kaczyński's cabinet , former head of President Lech Kaczyński's office with the rank of State Secretary and from 2007 to 2011 a member of the Sejm in the VI . In 1991 she graduated from the Warsaw School of Special Education .

From 1990 to 1992 she worked at the Społeczne Towarzystwo Oświatowe (Non-Profit Society for Education) in Warsaw, after which she worked for the Sejm Office until 1998 as secretary of the Deputy Sejm Marshals Jacek Kurczewski , Jan Król and Olga Krzyżanowska . Between 1998 and 2002 she headed the office of the Director General of the Office for Combatants and Persecuted Persons. From December 23, 2005 to July 23, 2007 she was State Secretary and Head of President Lech Kaczyński's Office.

After that she was Minister for Sport and Tourism in the Jarosław Kaczyńskis government until November 16, 2007.

In the parliamentary elections in 2007 she was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Siedlce with 33,509 votes on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS). She is the chair of the Sejm Commission for Sport. On September 8, 2010 she was expelled from Prawo i Sprawiedliwość . This was justified with the attitude of Elżbieta Jakubiak, which harm the party. She then co-founded the Polska Jest Najważniejsza party (Poland is most important) and joined the Polska Razem (Common Poland) party with it in 2013 .
