Sejm Marshal

Sejm Marshal (Polish Marszałek Sejmu ) is the highest office in the Sejm , next to the Senate a chamber of the Polish Parliament . As President of Parliament, the Sejm Marshal directs the work of the Sejm and watches over its dignified and lawful operation. He is elected at the beginning of a legislative period and must be a member of parliament himself . The Sejm Marshal takes over if the President is unable to attendor whose death the office as managing president, in the latter case until the prescribed new elections. Following this special constitutional position, the Sejmmarschall takes second place in the precedent after the President.
