Marek Jurek

Marek Jurek (born June 28, 1960 in Gorzów Wielkopolski ) is a Polish historian and politician of the Prawica Rzeczypospolitej .

Life

Jurek studied history at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan . In 1989, Jurek co-founded the Christian National Association and was a member of the Sejm several times . From October 26, 2005 to April 27, 2007 he was the successor of Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz Sejmmarschall for the party Law and Justice . In 2007 he was involved in founding the Prawica Rzeczypospolitej party . Jurek has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 . There he is a member of the Subcommittee on Security and Defense and of the Delegation for Relations with the Pan-African Parliament. Jurek is married and has four children.
