Elaine Giftos
Elaine Giftos Wright (born January 24, 1945 in Pittsfield , Massachusetts ) is an American former actress and dancer who now works as a Feng Shui expert.
Life
As a teenager, Elaine Giftos was a member of the New York City Ballet and was trained by George Balanchine . She then began working on Broadway and found her way into the film business from there. She had her first role in 1969 in the television series Charming Jeannie . This was followed by appearances on series such as Bonanza , The Boss , The Streets of San Francisco and The Six Million Dollar Man . She had a bigger role in the doctor series The Interns , recurring roles in The Partridge Family and Dr. med. Marcus Welby . She had a bigger film role in The Wrestler , where she played the lead female role.
She had other major roles in Angel and Much Trouble for Dick (1986). She had her last role in 2001 in the television series Woman Power . In 1989 she started her own business as a Feng Shui expert. In this capacity, she is occasionally seen as an expert on the documentary series Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo TV .
Giftos was married to screenwriter and film producer Herbert Wright , who died in 2005.
