Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas

Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas (nee Elaine Goldsmith ) is an American film producer .

Goldsmith-Thomas began her professional career as a secretary at the artist agency William Morris Agency . After being promoted to agent in 1985, she moved to the renowned agency International Creative Management , where she worked for thirteen years as the agency manager of the New York office in the interests of prominent artists such as Julia Roberts , Jennifer Lopez , Jennifer Connelly , Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon , represented.

On October 15, she moved to the film studio Revolution Studios founded by Joe Roth , where she has since supervised and developed film projects as a board member and head of the New York branch. She also works for Julia Roberts' production company Red Om and its managing director Deborah Schindler . Her first comedy, Manhattan Love Story from 2002, was created as a collaboration with Schindler, as were many later productions. Many successful cinema and television projects followed, which, like Manhattan Love Story, can be classified in the field of romantic comedy.

Her first marriage was to Daniel Thomas, son of a State Supreme Court judge.
