Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise is the second of two studio album by the French musician Jean-Michel Jarre from the E-Project that was created in collaboration with other musicians . It was released on May 6, 2016 by Sony Music or Columbia Records and Jarre's own label AERO and is his 18th studio album. It is dedicated to the whistleblower Edward Snowden and whistleblowers in general.
Specialty
After the tour and concert period, Jarre contacted well-known musicians who he believed were "known for their unique contribution to the genre [of electronic music] . " He designed titles together with each of you, whereby it was important for both Jarre and the artists to hear their own musical style so that one could see what was contributed by Jarre and what by the collaborator. The project went well and more and more musicians agreed to work with Jarre, bringing together material from 30 collaborations for two albums. After Electronica 1: The Time Machine , another album was released on May 6, 2016.
