Elicarlos Souza Santos , called Elicarlos , (born June 8, 1985 in Laranjeiras ) is a Brazilian football player . The right footer is used in the central midfield.
Career
Elicarlos started in the junior division of CA Porto . From here he was loaned to Náutico Capibaribe at the very beginning of his career . His first game for the club he played on May 13, 2007 in the Series A . In the game against Atlético Mineiro he ran on from the start. He scored his first professional goal in the same season . Against FC Santos , he rightly scored the 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute after a presentation by Hamilton dos Santos .
At the start of the 2008 league season , Elicarlos was signed by Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . With the club he continued to play in the Série A and made his debut at international club level. In the Copa Libertadores 2009 he ran on February 19, 2009 for the first time. In the game he was substituted on in the 81st minute for Fabrício . Seven more appearances in the competition followed. Shortly before the end of the 2010 season to Elicarlos injured on August 1 at the clavicle in the game against local rivals Atletico Mineiro . He was out for four weeks.
At the turn of the year 2010/11 Elicarlos was again committed by Náutico . With club he played in the Série B that season . At the end of the season, Náutico was runner-up and made it to the Série A. The club and Elicarlos were able to stay here until the 2013 season . Then he was relegated to the Série B. For the 2015 season , Elicarlos was loaned to the Chapecoense . Elicarlos returned to the A series.
Right at the start of the 2016 season, Elicarlos moved to Figueirense FC . After a stint at Santa Cruz FC in 2017 , Elicarlos returned to Chapecoense in August of that year .
