Elinor Eidt

Elinor Eidt , bourgeois Carolin Elinor Stromberger, (born September 14, 1987 in Tübingen ) is a German theater , film and television actress and voice actress .

Life and professional history

Elinor Eidt was born in Tübingen in 1987 . She completed her acting training from 2008 to 2012 at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule and was already engaged during her training at the Münchner Kammerspiele , the Residenztheater Munich , and the Akademietheater Munich . She made her debut at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg as Minna in Minna von Barnhelm or The Soldier's Luck . After that she was u. a. engaged at the Taunusstein Theater as “Lola Blau - Musical for an Actress and a Pianist” and took on the role of Gabriele von Kant in “ The bitter tears of Petra von Kant ” (director: Barish Karademir) by Fassbinder at the Stadttheater Fürth . She was a guest at the Wiesbadener Kammerspiele, where she appeared in 2015 as Anne in “The Diary of Anne Frank”. At the Wismar Festival in 2016/17 she was engaged in Goethe's “ Faust ” as Margarete. This was followed by another collaboration with director Barish Karademir in the German premiere of “Je suis Fassbinder” ( Falk Richter ) in Nuremberg, as well as taking on the role of Inken Peters alongside Dieter Hallervorden in Hauptmann's “ Before Sunset ” at the Schlossparktheater Berlin .

In various engagements in film and television, Elinor Eidt was, among others, Julie Bebel in the Bismarck two-part Die Reichsgründung and Die Nervöse Großmacht , directed by Bernd Fischerauer, and took on guest roles in Hubert and Staller , as well as Larissa Weigelt in Sturm der Liebe . Elinor Eidt took her first leading role in the cinema in 2014 in “Der Erste Stein”. In the movie " Im Labyrinth des Schweigens " (nomination for "Best Feature Film" at the Zurich Film Festival, German Film Award: nomination for "Best Feature Film") she appeared as Kathi. She has been in front of the camera in a continuous role for the SWR series "Die Fallers" since 2017.

In the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons she appeared again at the Schlossparktheater Berlin : In the German premiere of “A Certain Charles Spencer Chaplin ” she took on the role of Oona Chaplin O'Neill .

Elinor Eidt also works as a speaker for dubbing, radio plays and readings.

She is freelance and lives with her husband Fabian Stromberger in Berlin and Munich .
