Elio Germano (2008)

Elio Germano (born September 25, 1980 in Rome ) is an Italian actor.

For his role in Mio fratello è figlio unico (Eng. My brother is an only child) he received a David di Donatello as well as nominations for the European Film Prize and at the Venice International Film Festival .

In Berlin he was honored as a Shooting Star in 2008 and in 2020 he received a Silver Bear for Best Actor of the 70th Berlinale for his impersonation of Antonio Ligabue in Volevo nascondermi .

Besides Bruno Ganz and Erika Pluhar , he was in the German production in 2010, Das Ende ist mein Anfang .

In 2010 he played the lead role in the film La nostra vita , which screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival . There he won a Golden Palm for best leading actor. He also received a Nastro d'Argento and again a David di Donatello for this role .
