Ellen Weston

Ellen Weston (* 19th April 1939 in New York City , New York as Ellen Weinstein ) is an American actress and screenwriter .

Life

Weston began her career on Broadway in 1960 , where she appeared in various productions until 1964. From 1963 to 1964 she played the role of Robin Fletcher in the soap opera Springfield Story . In addition to guest roles in various television series such as Bonanza , Mannix and Verliebt in eine Hexe , she had recurring roles in Mini-Max as Dr. Steel as well as in The Bad Five as Betty Harrelson .

From the late 1980s she started working as a screenwriter and ended her acting career. She wrote the scripts for a number of television films, including And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story , as well as several episodes of Springfield Story , for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2005.

Weston is married and has one son.
