The Els , also Elsbach, is about twenty-two kilometers long stream in the Vorrhön in Lower Franconia and a right tributary of the litter .

The Els rises on the south side of the Heidelstein in the Franconian Rhön . The brook flows from northwest to southeast and flows into the Streu in Unsleben , a tributary of the Franconian Saale .
