Emiliano Viviano , (born December 1, 1985 in Fiesole ) is an Italian football player .

Career

In the club

Viviano grew up in the youth team at Fiorentina before he was sold to Brescia Calcio . In 2004 he was loaned to AC Cesena for one season , where he played 13 games and conceded 18 goals. Between 2005 and 2009 he played for Brescia, where he quickly became a regular goalkeeper. At Brescia he had to reach 120 times in 126 games in the Italian Serie B.

In summer 2009 he moved to Inter Milan in the Serie A . On July 13, 2009, he joined the FC Bologna as a co-owner . There he immediately became number one. In his first season he played 34 championship games and conceded 45 goals.

Viviano initially returned to Milan for the 2011/12 season. In July 2011 he tore a cruciate ligament and was therefore unable to complete the first half of the season. In August 2011, the then injured goalkeeper signed a co-owner contract with CFC Genoa . During the winter break it should be decided which club he would play for in the future.

On January 13, 2012, Inter Milan announced that Viviano would move to US Palermo . The Milanese bought the second half of the transfer rights from CFC Genoa and concluded a new co-ownership with Palermo.

In the summer of 2012, Palermo bought the complete transfer rights to Viviano and loaned the goalkeeper to Fiorentina with a purchase option . Viviano welcomed this move as he is not only returning to his youth club but is also a huge fan of Florence.

On September 2, 2013 Viviano moved to the end of the season on loan in the Premier League for Arsenal , but did not play a single game for the English club.

US Palermo loaned Viviano again for one season on August 13, 2014. This time he stays in Italy and moves to Sampdoria Genoa . Following the loan, Sampdoria signed Viviano. At Sampdoria he was a regular goalkeeper.

In the national team

Emiliano Viviano played for Italy in the following junior teams: U-15 , U-18 , U-19 , U-20 and U-21 . In September 2010 he made his debut for the senior national team under Cesare Prandelli in a 5-0 win over the Faroe Islands . He played five more games by 2011 and was appointed to the squad several times until 2012.
