Andrea Petagna (born June 30, 1995 in Trieste ) is an Italian football player who plays in the storm . He is currently under contract with SSC Napoli , but plays on loan at SPAL Ferrara .

Career

society

Petagna joined the AC Milan football school in 2009 , where he played until August 2013. During this time he also made his first appearance with the professionals when he was substituted on in the 1: 2 defeat by Hellas Verona on the first day of the 2013/14 season. In the summer transfer period, he left the youth and professional squad in Milan and was awarded to Sampdoria Genua , where he only played three appearances in the professional squad, including the game against Milan . In January 2014, AC Milan brought him back, where he has since been both in the professional squad and is back in the youth team.

For the 2014/15 season Petagna moved on loan to Serie B for US Latina . This was followed by two more loans to Vicenza Calcio and Ascoli Picchio FC 1898 . In the summer of 2016, Petagna moved to Atalanta Bergamo . After four years and regular loans, Petagna moved to SSC Napoli in January 2020 . The existing loan agreement with SPAL Ferrara will continue his new club until the end of the season in summer 2020.

National team

Petagna went through the U-16 , U-17 , U-18 , U-19 , U-20 and U-21 selection of Italy.

In March 2017 he made his debut for the senior national team under Gian Piero Ventura in a friendly against the Netherlands . On May 31, 2017, he scored a goal against San Marino in his second appearance . It has not been taken into account since then.

Trivia

Francesco Petagna , also a professional footballer and coach in Italy, was Petagna's grandfather.
