Emrah Savaş (born April 1, 1997 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Erzurum Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK in the Super League since 2015 .

Career

Emrah Savaş began his career as a hockey player with Erzurum Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK , for which he made his debut in the Turkish second division in 2012. In 2013 he moved to local rivals Erzurum Genclik SK , with whom he spent the 2013/14 season in the Turkish Super League . After relegation in 2014, he played for the club from Eastern Anatolia for a year in the second division. In 2015 he returned to his home club, with which he has played in the super league since then and became Turkish runner-up in 2017.

International

For Turkey, Savaş took part in the U18 World Championships in 2013 , 2014 and 2015 as well as in the U20 World Championships in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 in Division III.

With the men's national team he played for the first time at the World Cup of Division III in 2016 , where he was promoted to Division II. There he played at the 2017 World Cup .
