Mike "Doc" Emrick (born August 1, 1946 in La Fontaine , Indiana ) is an American sports commentator who works for NBC and Versus television . From 1990 to 2011 he was also a commentator for the New Jersey Devils ice hockey team of the National Hockey League .

Career

Mike Emrick studied at Manchester College compartment Speech ( dt . Speech) and graduated in 1964 with a bachelor's degree from. After five years in Philadelphia, Emrick rejoined the New Jersey Devils television team in 1993 and continues to be the live commentator for the New Jersey Games to this day.
