Enrique Molina (athlete)
Enrique Molina ( Enrique Molina Vargas ; born February 25, 1968 in La Zubia ) is a former Spanish long-distance runner .
Life
In 1993 he won bronze over 3000 m at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Toronto . Two years later he was eliminated from the 1995 World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg over 5000 m in the heat. At the end of the season he won the San Silvestre Vallecana .
Also over 5000 m he was seventh at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and eighth at the 1997 World Championships in Athens.
Over 10,000 m he was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1998 , but was eliminated from the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney as well as from the 2001 World Championships over 5000 m.
Molina was Spanish champion over 5000 m in 1995, in cross-country running in 2000 and over 1500 m in the hall in 1993 .
