Enrique Leopoldo Rojas Contreras (born December 23, 1978 ) is a Chilean pool player .

Career

In 2005 Enrique Rojas reached the final of the Pan American Championship in the 9-ball discipline for the first time and lost there against Alan Rolon . At the 9-Ball World Championship in 2005 , he was eliminated in the preliminary round as fifth in his group. At the Pan American Championships in 2006 and 2007 he won the 9-ball title by winning the final against his compatriot Alejandro Carvajal . At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2007 he was eliminated without a win in the preliminary round. In 2010 he lost the final against Ignacio Chavez in the 9-ball competition of the Pan American Championship . In 2012 he won the bronze medal in the 9-ball and 10-ball disciplines. In July 2013 he was eliminated from the World Games in the round of 16 against Dennis Orcollo . At the 9-Ball World Championship in 2013 , Rojas reached the round of 64 and was defeated by the Philippine Ramil Gallego with 8:11. At the 2013 Pan American Championship , he finished third in 8-ball and 10-ball . In July 2014, he moved into the final of the 10-ball competition of the Pan American Championship , where he lost to Alejandro Carvajal. In 2015 he won the bronze medal in the 8-ball and 10-ball disciplines. In 2016 , Rojas became the first Pan American champion in 10-ball with a final win against Rubén Bautista .

In 2014 Rojas took part in the World Cup of Pool for the first time. Together with Alejandro Carvajal he formed the Chilean doubles, which were eliminated in the first round against the Filipinos Dennis Orcollo and Lee Van Corteza .
