The Enzianhütte is a managed refuge of the Fulda section of the German Alpine Club , in the Rhön . It stands at an altitude of 760  m on the wooded northern slope of the Weiherberg near Dietges , a district of Hilders in the Fulda district .

The hut is open all year round (closed on Tuesdays, from November to March also on Mondays). The inn offers up to 100 seats and 48 beds. From Dietges a road leads directly to the hut with parking facilities. The fastest way to get to the Enzianhütte is on foot from Grabenhöfchen ( 685  m ), a mountain pass on the federal highway 458 , on a path in 10 minutes. One -hour hikes lead from Abtsroda or Sieblos over the Weiherberg to the Enzianhütte. On the marked hiking trails of the Rhön Club , the tour options include the nearby Weiherberg, the Wasserkuppe , Milseburg , Teufelstein , Steinwand and the Fuldaer Haus . The hut is a base on a variant of the Hochrhöner and the European long-distance hiking trails E3 and E6 .
