The Eparchy Emdeber ( Latin Eparchia Emdeberensis ) is a diocese of the Ethiopian Catholic Church , which is united with the Roman Catholic Church . It was built by Pope John Paul II on November 25, 2003 and was subordinated to the Archbishop of Addis Ababa as a suffragan. The area of the eparchy was spun off from the Archdiocese of Addis Ababa. At the time of its foundation, the eparchy had 18,476 believers in 14 parishes with 16 diocesan priests and 6 religious priests .
The organization is based in Endibir , Region of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples , Ethiopia .
