Musie Ghebreghiorghis OFMCap (born July 26, 1949 in Aderho , Eritrea ) is Bishop of the Ethiopian Catholic Church in Emdeber , Ethiopia .

Life

Musie Ghebreghiorghis took the Capuchin vows on May 18, 1974 . On June 13, 1976 he was ordained as a priest of the Capuchins. He was appointed Bishop of Emdeber on November 25, 2003.

The head of the Ethiopian Catholic Church Metropolitan and Archbishop Berhaneyesus Demerew Souraphiel and the co-consecrators Bishop Woldetensae Ghebreghiorghis OFMCap ( Apostolic Vicar of Harar ) and Bishop Tesfay Medhin (Bishop of Adigrat ) initiated him on 8 February 2004 in Addis Ababa bishop. The introduction to his episcopate took place on February 15, 2004.

As bishop he was co-consecrator with Theodorus van Ruijven CM to titular bishop of Utimma (Apostolic Vicar of Nekemte ), Markos Ghebremedhin CM as Titular Bishop of Gummi in Proconsulari (Apostolic Vicar of Jimma-Bonga ) and Lisane-Christofos Matheos Semidia of the Titularbisch Numidia ( Auxiliary Bishop in Addis Ababa ).
