Life
For the first time in 1568 in the service of the Archbishop of Bamberg with renovation work in the old court , he built the Renaissance gable structure, the new chancellery and the stair tower with spiral staircase in 1570 according to plans by Caspar Vischer . In Bamberg he also worked at Geyerswörth Castle , here based on plans by Wolfgang Beringer . He is considered the master of the Langheim court (1575) and the court pharmacy (1577/1578). After Jacob Malik's death in Forchheim , he was entrusted by the Bamberg Monastery with the construction of two bastions of the Forchheim Fortress . He immortalized himself at the foot of the bay window of the part of the old court that he built.
He died at the age of 66 and was buried in the Johannisfriedhof in Nuremberg (grave no. 1862), the epitaph is no longer preserved.
In 1606 he married Margaretha Weiß († October 23, 1617); its epitaph is in the parish church in Walsdorf .
