Eric Millegan (born August 25, 1974 in Hackettstown , New Jersey ) is an American actor . Because of his youthful looks, he is often selected for roles in which he portrays significantly younger characters.

Life

Millegan grew up in Springfield, Oregon . He graduated from drama school in Interlochen , Michigan and studied musical theater at the University of Michigan . He currently lives in Los Angeles , California . He lives openly gay and 2003, the gay US magazine named him out for "heißesten open-gay young actor" ( "Hottest Up-and-Coming Openly Gay Actor of 2003" ).

An important focus of Millegan's previous work has been in the field of music theater . Tenor Millegan played in Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway in New York and in 2005 was Harold in the cast of the world premiere of the musical Harold & Maude by Tom Jones and Joseph Thalken. In late 2006 he appeared in a production of the Gilbert and Sullivan opera The Pirates of Penzance at the Eugene Opera House , Oregon .

Millegan made his film debut in 2002 in the erotic independent film On_Line , which was shown in the official program of several important film festivals, including the Berlinale .

Millegan has also made guest appearances on several television series, including 100 Center Street , Law & Order, and Curb Your Enthusiasm .

From 2005 to 2008 he was in the role of the ingenious but in the interpersonal area very clumsy young scientist Zack Addy to the regular cast of the Fox series Bones - The Bone Hunter .

Eric Millegan played his first film lead role in the 2006 independent film The Phobic .
