Eric Rogers

Eric Rogers (born September 25, 1921 in Halifax , † April 8, 1981 in Chalfont St Peter ) was a British composer , conductor and arranger .

Life

Rogers showed an interest in music as a child and learned how to play the organ in church . After the Second World War he founded his own orchestra and played in the Orchid Room in London's Trocadero . As his notoriety rose, he received numerous offers as musical director for films. He worked on several carry on films and in 1966 was musical director for the classic comedy It's Crazy - Just Don't Lose Your Head .
