Erich Dietz from Bayer

Erich Dietz von Bayer (born January 8, 1859 in Himmelstädt ; † December 24, 1937 there ) was a Prussian colonel and parliamentarian .

Life

Dietz von Bayer studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Universität Jena . In 1877 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Jena . He broke off his studies after three semesters and embarked on an officer career in the Prussian Army . From 1885 to 1888 he attended the military academy and then served in various hunter battalions until 1901. He then worked as the 2nd Infantry Department (A 2) of the War Ministry . As a major , he took his leave with the statutory pension in 1906 with the authorization to wear the uniform of the 2nd Silesian Jäger Battalion No. 6 .

Dietz von Bayer leased a domain in Himmelstädt near Kladow in Neumark . There he was head of office and member of the district council. During the First World War Dietz was reused by Bayer as a zD officer and served a. a. as district commander in the military administration in Romania .

From 1913 to 1918 Dietz von Bayer sat in the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency Frankfurt 2 (Stadt- und Landsberg, Soldin) . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
