Erio Castellucci (born July 8, 1960 in Forlì , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and Archbishop of Modena-Nonantola .

Life

Erio Castellucci was ordained a priest for the diocese of Forlì-Bertinoro on May 5, 1984 .

On June 3, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Modena-Nonantola. The bishop of Forlì-Bertinoro, Lino Pizzi , gave him episcopal consecration on September 12th of the same year. Co - consecrators were the former bishop of Forlì-Bertinoro, Vincenzo Zarri , and the bishop of Parma , Enrico Solmi . The inauguration in the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola took place the next day.

On April 1, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Consultor of the Congregation for the Clergy . Pope Francis appointed him on June 26, 2019, in addition, as Apostolic Administrator of the vacant Diocese of Carpi .
