Ernst Adams

Ernst Adams (born October 30, 1890 in Düsseldorf , † March 19, 1973 in Bernkastel-Kues ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1951 to 1963 he was a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate .

Life

After attending secondary school in Berlin and completing a commercial education, he studied at the universities in Berlin and Würzburg. In 1914 he graduated as Dr. rer. pole. He returned from the First World War as a lieutenant in the reserve and in 1919 was a research assistant at the Prussian State Statistical Office in Berlin. From 1920 to 1927 he held senior positions in industrial and trading companies. In 1927 he became sales manager of the Seitz factories in Bad Kreuznach . After the Second World War he lived as the owner of the St. Johannishof winery in Bernkastel.

politics

In 1934 he joined the DAF and NSV and in 1940 the NSDAP . In 1953 he became a member of the CDU. For this he was from 1952 to 1961 a member of the district council and the district committee Bernkastel. In the 2nd to 4th electoral term he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . In the 2nd electoral term he was a member of the Agricultural Policy Committee, the Legal and Rules Committee and the Viticulture and Wine Industry Committee. In the 3rd and 4th electoral terms he was a member of the Viticulture and Wine Industry Committee and the Economic and Reconstruction Committee.

He was a member of the Rhineland-Nassau Chamber of Agriculture , member of the board of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Winegrowing Association and the German Winegrowing Association.
