Ernst Bartl

Ernst Bartl (born March 13, 1899 in Weipert , Preßnitz district , † January 21, 1972 in Marktredwitz ) was a German city councilor, councilor and mayor in Eger . Later he sat on the federal board of Eghalanda Gmoi .

Life

From 1923 Ernst Bartl ran a uniform shop in Eger . There he was also active in the functions mentioned at the local political level. After Richard Siegl's death on July 8, 1942, he was appointed federal head ("Bundesvüarstäiha") of Eghalanda Gmoin.

After the end of the war he came to Bavaria via Baden-Württemberg as a displaced person . On August 27, 1950, at the time he lived in Geislingen an der Steige , he was involved in the re-establishment of Eghalanda Gmoin in Schwäbisch Hall and from then on worked again as head of the state until his death. He was one of the initiators of the Egerland publishing house, the tribal magazine “Der Egerländer”, the “Egerländer Landtag” and the Egerland cultural center , which was only opened in Marktredwitz after his death .
