Ernst Meurin

Ernst Meurin , pseudonym Oelder Windmüller , (born December 10, 1885 in Oelde - Sünninghausen , † after 1965 in Langenberg ) was a German author and district home keeper of Wiedenbrück .

Life

Ernst Meurin attended the Rector's School in Oelde and the grammar school in Coesfeld . He passed his teaching examination at the preparation institute in Warendorf. He then served for a year in the infantry in Münster . Meurin taught for 43 years as a teacher in Bornholte near Verl , where he was one of the co-founders of the Heimatverein in 1920. From 1904 on he worked for the Westphalian daily newspaper Die Glocke . In 1926 he became secretary of the Heimatverein Wiedenbrück. 1948, after the war he became the county curator of Wiedenbrück selected. In retirement he lived in Langenberg until his death.
