Ernst Pfretzschner

Ernst Pfretzschner (born February 26, 1882 in Jenbach , Tyrol ; † January 9, 1943 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian architect and engineer who worked in Tyrol and Argentina .

Life

Pfretzschner was the son of the Austrian sculptor and hunting writer Norbert Pfretzschner and grew up on the estate of his grandfather, Norbert Pfretzschner senior , in Jenbach / Tyrol. For his training as an architect and engineer, he attended the technical colleges in Munich and Vienna . At the University of Erlangen he graduated as Dr. phil. with the work The Floor Plan Development of the Roman Baths. After Austrian military service in World War I, he emigrated to Argentina with his wife and sons Paul and Norbert. The daughter Beatrize was born there. The family later returned to Tyrol to the family residence in the Innsbruck district of Hötting, where he died in 1943.
